Unfortunately there are no more Small Action calls for Serbia.
The last and final call for Small Actions of the Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans for Serbia was in December 2008.
Small actions are considered to be one-time events: exhibitions, publications, stage productions, concerts, conferences, debates etc., but also durable research or process-based projects in the field of art theory and practice, mobility grants, etc.
Our partners in the implementation of Small actions were organizations, institutions and groups of independent cultural workers. They were paid a subsidiary project-specific contribution in order to facilitate the development and implementation of cultural projects.
Realization of such projects directly contributed to the progress of the defined regional and/or national priority areas, and to fulfilling the overall objectives and vision of the Programme.
Regional priorities for Small actions were as follows: - Building the professional capacity of artists or cultural organisations, especially young or emerging practitioners;
- Developing cultural debate within society;
- Supporting innovative cultural creation; or
- Extending equal opportunities and human rights by supporting cultural diversity.
A project was also eligible for support if in addition to one of regional priorities it met the following national priority:- Serbia: Access to and promotion of culture through partnership
